The Lego Company’s booth at the 2023 New York Toy Fair offered buyers and reporters a view of the breadth of the company’s original and licensed product lines. From Star Wars to Harry Potter, Ninjago to DC and Marvel Comicbook characters, each skew was featured in its own display case. Lego has products for all age ranges. The Duplo series is aimed at 1 1/2 to 5 year olds, while the 6,167 piece Lord of the Rings Rivendell set was named the Toy Association’s Grown Up category winner of the 2023 Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards.

Roller Coaster of Love: LEGO Reveals New Creator Package at TTPM 2018 Spring Event

Andy and I are on our way the TTPM Spring Event (Toys, Tots, Pets and More) and we’ll be reporting on our favorites from the multitude of goodies we encounter.

Here’s a first look at one toy we’re really excited to experience up close today. This marvelous, just announced, LEGO Creator Expert level Roller Coaster (10261) is loaded with amazing details. There’s a ticket booth, boarding station with height marker, vendor stands, money, cotton candy and more. The two coaster trains will give the 11 included figures a day of thrills at the fairground. This fully functioning chain lift action can even be upgraded with LEGO Boost and motorized power functions for added movement sensor and sound effects. Available starting June 1, 2018.

Those who can’t wait for LEGOLAND New York to open in 2020 can get a massive bricks fix at the very first Lego Live NYC event.The family oriented weekend will take place at Manhattan’s Pier 36 on February 16-18, 2018 and will offer a range of activities sure to please LEGO neophytes and diehard “Brickheads” alike.
