That’s what I thought too. Which is why, despite the goading of many friends, I’ve avoided joining the online fray for several years. Eventually the bug to write/report/share renewed the enthusiasm I had as a 15 year old “mimeo-‘zine publishing magnate” and washed away my reticence about adding more static to the planet.
With that in mind, this web-journal is undertaken in the spirit of sharing some things I’ve encountered that I humbly believe to be worthy of notice. There won’t be any major critique, few – if any dislikes, just some pointers to what I hope you agree is “cool stuff”. Oh yeah, just for the record, I will shamelessly plug the talents of a very creative group of people I’m proud to call my friends.
Me? I love music, the graphic & illustrative arts, and film. Over the course of a little more than a half century I have dabbled in each discipline on a “jack-of-all-trades” level. Thanks to the mentorship of my Dad in my formative years I can work a camera at a proficiency most would consider professional and have made a living as a photographer most of my life. Thanks to Apple, Adobe & HP I longer do that in the dark and up to my elbows in photo-chemistry.
