(Don’t) Fear the Riffer: Cutting Edge Expo for Music Gearheads

Fear the Riff Effects Pedal and Gear Expo
Saturday October 7, 2017
11AM through 8PM
(10AM entrance for VIP ticket holders)
Brooklyn Expo Center
79 Franklin Street, Brooklyn, NY

Watch It With that Axe, Brooklyn…
Fear the Riff will bring together industry stalwarts and start-ups for an exploration at the bleeding edge of sound modification. Expo title aside, you should not fear to attend but you should be prepared to be slayed during a full day of musical madness and merriment at the Brooklyn Expo Center.

Unique Boutique…
The music industry has seen an explosion of unique tone-centric to eccentric stompboxes and amplifiers being formulated and custom built by electronic artisans. While its fine to watch the avalanche of unboxings, reviews, and shoot-outs on YouTube, Fear The Riff will offer attendees personal insight from creators and the opportunity to demo products first hand. Many companies, like Night Owl Industries, will be featuring never before seen products. Canada’s Millimetric Instruments will be making their United States debut.

Get onboard the Gibson Mobile Showroom at “Fear the Riff” Expo.

Gibson will roll up with their awesome Mobile Guitar Showroom Bus.

In addition to the 50 plus vendors, Sam Ash will sponsor the demo stage, as well as a used equipment “buy back” station at the Expo. A chance to to turn your used equipment into cash.

Tix Picks…
There are three ticket levels. General Admission, Lunch and Drink, and VIP. For full details on what each gets you, follow this ticket link.

You Can’t Live by Shred Alone…
Fear the Riff promoters, High River Entertainment, are the same fine folks behind the NYC’s Annual Hot Sauce Festival so they know how to throw a party. High River honcho Steve Seaberry has even created a limited edition “Fear the Riff” hot sauce just for the occasion.

Along with food for your ears, the press release promises, “you will also be able to enjoy specialty cocktails, craft beer from our fully stocked bars, award winning Texas style BBQ and a full gourmet taco bar by NYC’s Pinks Tacos on site.”
